This started out life as an MR-S, believe it or not. ~200 were made, all in 2001 I believe. Just look at it:

I always thought these just had a body kit, but it looks like the wheelbase is stretched.

Who in their right mind thinks that the answer to the not-good looking MR2 Spyder is to make it look exponentially worse?

Does that much enlarged aft section at least add trunk space?

200 where made, & 1 of them is in Toronto.

Probably. But the front end. It looks like a Celica bumper with a massive headlight assembly.
